RW
Largest Listing Marketplace
A well-known marketplace with strong consumer visibility, but it is less owner-friendly on speed and fees than the top-ranked options. Owners set their own pricing, pay a posting fee, and receive payout after check-in rather than upfront.
Large audience reach
Owner-set pricing
Post check-in payout
Upfront listing fee
#4
RS
Resort Share
Full-Service Management
A strong fit for owners who want hands-on help and are comfortable splitting rental revenue. ResortShare handles a lot for the owner, but payments generally arrive about a month after guest check-in and the company keeps a substantial share of the rental proceeds.
No upfront fees
Full-service help
50% revenue share
~30-day payout

GK
Go Koala
Best Self-Managed Platform
A good option for owners who want more control over their listing and pricing. KOALA has no upfront fee, charges commission only on a successful booking, and releases payment shortly after guest check-in, making it one of the better self-service platforms in the market.
Free to list
8% commission
24-hour release after check-in
Owner pricing control
#6
RR
Resort Rentals
Mixed Owner Experience
A large player with broad listing exposure, but one of the more confusing options from an owner perspective. Pricing, fees, and process details are not as transparent as the higher-ranked companies, which makes it harder for owners to compare expected returns with confidence.
Wide listing exposure
Less transparent pricing
Sales-led process
Limited clarity

Vacation Strategy
Lowest Owner Value
Best suited for owners prioritizing convenience over maximizing revenue. Based on your current review positioning, the biggest drawback is lower owner payout compared with the stronger alternatives listed above.

Resort Share is a good honest company; they tell you right on their home page that they are going to take 50% of all the revenue they collect. Hey, at least they are honest about it!
The good news about them taking half? That means they are performance-based, which means you will never pay them for any of their services….kind of.
They get paid from the rental transactions they do for you, splitting the proceeds on each rental with you. This allows their team to focus on getting you top dollar for each reservation because as your share goes up, so does theirs.
The only thing we didn’t like about Resort Share after interviewing clients and speaking with actual Resort Share employees is that you are stuck with your points if they’re not successful in renting them.
That means if they use your points to create reservations and they don’t get it rented YOU are stuck with those unused points. Resort Share lists the reservations they book on your account on sites like Airbnb and other online travel agencies.
Hopefully Resort Share list reservations online that travelers actually want to rent, otherwise, you’re stuck with your points.
Resort Share will also fully assist you in managing your timeshare account, booking your personal vacations, and doing rental on your unused points. How cool is that?
After reviewing hundreds of emails from clients and speaking to dozens of their actual clients we have confirmed that ResortShare.com takes 50% of all rental revenue collected.

Go Koala is a reputable company that has amazing customer service for timeshare owners. They have a solid A+ rating from the BBB and their owners seem to like them. When it comes to listing your timeshare for rent you have to know what you are doing if you want to get a traveler to book your listing off of the Go Koala website.
You have to decide what to book, how many nights to book, what room type to book etc. But if you know what you’re doing in all of those areas Go Koala has some traveler traffic they can send your way for sure!
They also charge a 8% commission on every rental completed in addition to the below membership tier fee structure.
After reviewing their website and speaking with satisfied customers here is a breakdown of their fees.

Resort Rental is a big company with a lot of listings, they don’t make it easy to find out what they charge but they clearly advertise your listing on all the major sites like Airbnb and VRBO.
There is a fee that seems to vary for listing your timeshare for rent on their platform and they will help you try and determine what to book, how many days and what room type but you are forced to call into a sales center, and you will be “sold”.
We didn’t particularly like that experience. They sales center people are extremely friendly, but they do have a lot of product options and they all cost money to use.
Overall, it was the most confusing website that we reviewed, and we were not able to speak with any of their customers at the time of this review. Click here to view our timeshare rental comparison chart to see how they stack up against the competition.

VacationStrategy.com is a timeshare rental company that aims to connect vacationers with timeshare owners, offering unique vacation experiences at various destinations. As with any service, there are both positive aspects and potential considerations associated with the platform.
We only found one con.
The main benefits this company offers are mainly for the traveler not for the timeshare owner.
After reviewing their website and speaking with satisfied customers we have determined that there is no fee to work with Vacation Strategy.
